HOPE Centre
The Hope Centre is in the St. John's Shopping Centre.
Our opening hours are:
Monday and Tuesday - 11am to 3pm
Wednesday - 11am to 4pm
Thursday and Friday - 10am to 3pm
The HOPE Centre provides a safe environment for women who are experiencing (or have experienced) domestic violence/abuse.
You can drop in for advice or come for a specific activity or appointment. We are currently providing the following activities:
Mondays
- 11.30am to 12noon - Service User Involvement. Light refreshments provided.
- 12noon to 2pm - Creative Monday (creche available)
- 12:30pm to 2:45pm - (by appointment) Counselling
Tuesdays
- 11am to 1pm (by appointment) - Employment Training (help, support and advice for women seeking to get back into work or into training)
- 1pm to 2.30pm - Card Making (creche available)
Wednesdays
- 11am to 12noon - Table Tennis (come and have a go!)
- 12noon to 2pm - Cooking Class
- 2pm to 4pm (by appointment) - Legal advice available
Thursdays
- 10am to 1pm (by appointment) - Counselling
- 11am to 12. 30pm - Beauty Therapy
- 12.30pm to 2.30pm - Playtime for under 4's (term time only) - go shopping and run errands whilst your child can play and have fun
- 3.45pm to 5.45pm - After School Club (term time only)
Fridays
- 10am to 12.30pm (by appointment) - Counselling
- 10.30am to 12.30pm - Creative Friday - currently art work (painting) and a super lunch (creche available)
- 1.30pm to 2.30pm - Computer Class - come along and join in whatever your experience of computers is (creche available)
